The International Association for Queer TheologyDirector: Prof Marcella Althaus-Reid (University of Edinburgh) Associate Director: Prof Lisa Isherwood (Vice-director of the European Society of Women in Theological Research, University of Winchester) The International Association for Queer Theology (IAQT) is a network for theologians and church practitioners involved in research on Sexual theologies, with the aim of facilitating the exchange of knowledge and current discussion across different continents and denominations. International Theological Panel: Rev Elder Glenna Shepperd (Metropolitan Community Church, Bristol); Rev Kerri Mesner (MCC, Edinburgh); Dr Cecelia Clegg (Edinburgh Centre for Theology and Public Issues Director); Rev Mario Ribas (Brazil/South Africa); Rev Hugo Córdova Quero (Argentina/Berkeley); Andre Musskopft (Brazil ); Rev Robert Goss (MCC in the Valley, California ); Prof Mark Jordan (Emory University); Prof Kwok Pui-Lan (Vanderbilt University); Rev Rowland J Macaulay (House of Rainbow, Nigeria); Rev Pressley Sutherland (MCC, London). At present IAQT has 3 research member bodies:
Member bodies gather once in a year to discuss their projects and keep in touch through e-mail discussion list (The Virtual Queer). Individuals and groups sharing research interests in this field are invited to contact the Director at Marcella.Althaus-Reid@ed.ac.uk with a view to setting up their own regional projects. |
